Conventions and conferences are just a small part of Al Hikma Media’s work. Throughout the year, our members keep themselves involved in educational, Da’wah (outreach) and social service oriented activities. Al Hikma arranges speaker tours, dialogues, TV programmes, production of exhibition materials and much more. However, demand for our services far exceeds our ability to deliver as all our volunteers have full time work commitments and families to maintain. Therefore we apologise for any shortcomings on our behalf. Perfection belongs to Allah alone.

Conventions/Conferences  

Al Hikma Media is a pioneering organiser of Islamic conferences/conventions in the Midlands and Greater Manchester regions. Alhumduallah, Al Hikma is leading from the front with its fusion of ideas for free Islamic conferences and paving the way for many organisations to follow. Most of our conferences are so popular that they are over-subscribed and run short of space. Each of our conferences has a dynamic focus which attempts to build a solid understand of the principles of Islam whilst uniting our diverse community at the same time. 

Apart from a number of other conferences Al Hikma Media delivers two main annual conferences. This includes the “United Muslims Conference” which is held in Birmingham and “The Revival” conference held in Greater Manchester. 

 All our conferences are a “free entrance” based conference in which a number of shahadas (people accepting Islam) have taken place. This policy of not charging delegates is only maintained through your generous donations and business sponsorships. So please do continue to support our work.

Speaker Tours 

Al Hikma Media has been blessed to organise a number of speaker tours over the years. Often our speaker tours encompass requests from universities and community organisations provide effective speakers for a particular topic. Our speaker tours have consisted of both national and internal speakers.

Audio/Visual Media 

Al Hikma Media are the official producers and distributors of a number of audio/visual publications. We have the direct permission and authorisation to produce and distribute a number of talks/recordings of many renowned scholars and daees. Work Experience / References

With a wide variety of tasks to deliver in promoting the Deen there exists many opportunities for people to get involved in. If anyone wishes to gain some work experience which can be useful to add onto their CV  please do contact us with your suggested area of work/specialisation and we will inform you if any current work experience can be gained in that field.

Exhibitions

One of Al Hikma Media’s current projects is to create a professional portable Islamic exhibition. Dawah is a major obligation for Muslims living in the West. There are many forms of medium that this dawah can be delivered such as one to one interaction, speeches, conferences, courses, leaflets, books, CDS and so forth. Each aspect has its own unique advantages and disadvantages as well as its own niche market.

One of the most effective ways of delivering the message of Islam in Islamic Awareness Weeks (IAW), at schools and various other events is by creating a museum style exhibition informing people of different aspects of Islam. Realising this as an effective means we are aiming to produce a series of exhibitions using professional pop up stands, exhibition walk through, banners, plasma screen visual aids, short documentaries and so forth. This is much more than you average exhibition of laminated A3 posters but a series of tailor made exhibitions on a number of topics.

The first step towards this exhibition will be a series of pop-up stands as this is the cheapest way to start the exhibition material. However, a few large exhibitions and banners will be developed in the initial process to create some variety and provide an insight of what is to come. The contents of all exhibitions will be checked either by scholars or students of knowledge who specialise in that field for accuracy. 

This is an excellent means for people to donate for sadqa jariya. A person can sponsor a single pop up stand or more, which will Inshallah, bring them continuous reward during the exhibitions usage. If businesses wish to sponsor these banners an acknowledgement can be made on the exhibitions materials. T-shirt / Sweatshirts / Clothing

Al Hikma Media stock a range of our own Islamic clothing. We have a range of clothing merchandise with Islamic slogans printed on them. These items promote Islamic values as opposed to wearing labels that do not. We offer a range of T-shirts, Sweatshirts, Hooded tops and the like. 

If any organisation wishes to produce clothing with their own unique slogans, logo or design then Al Hikma Media can arrange for the production of such items.

Al Hikma also stocks a range of hijabs and jilbaabs to suit a variety of tastes.

Multifaith Activities

Living in an environment with a diverse range of faiths it is incumbulent that we liase and discourse with them in a structured and respectful manner so that a better understanding of each other’s faith is developed. It is also important that we articulate our beliefs and differences in a sincere manner in order to fulfil our obligation of delivering the message and clearing misconceptions. Upon this basis Al Hikma Media delivers dialogues/debates between Muslim representatives and religious figures of other faiths or even those with no faith at all.

Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. Unfortunately there is not much support services for people once they have embraced Islam. Al Hikma Media have a good connection with a range of scholars, Islamic Organisations and educational material to support, educate or council our new brothers/sisters to Islam.
